Native to Norfolk Island.

Notes

Introduced tree to 70 m tall. Bark peeling in thin flakes. Juvenile leaves 1–1.25 cm long, transitioning into mature leaves. Mature leaves in overlapping series encircling the stems, 0.4-0.7 cm long, 3-6 mm wide. Male cones single, 4–5 cm long, 1–1.3 cm diameter. Female cones 7.5–10 cm long, 8–10 cm diameter, in small groups. Mature cones 100–120 mm long and 120–140 mm in diameter.
