Where found

Dry forest, woodland, shrubland, grassy areas, and disturbed sites. Widespread. Rare on coast and ranges south of the Sydney area..

Notes

Annual or biennial to perennial herb, to 0.9 m tall or sprawling.  Stems with scattered long stifff hairs.  Leaves basal and opposite each other, basal leaves 1.5-6 cm long, 10-30 mm wide, stem leaves smaller. Leaves hairy, deeply dissected into three flat lobes which are again lobed or toothed to scalloped.  Leaves sometimes appear compound, with 3 leaflets.  Flowers blue, with 5 petals, each about 6-10 mm long, in clusters of 2-6 flowers, rarely single.  Flowers most of the year.
