Where found

Forest and woodland. Coast, ranges, and the eastern edge of the tablelands. Occasionally elsewhere. Doubtfully naturalised in the ACT.

Notes

Shrub to 2.5 m high. Stems sticky. Leaves alternating up the stems or opposite each other, scattered, 1.5–10 cm long, 2–11 mm wide, tips pointed, without a mucro; margins entire and flat, upper surface sticky and green, lower surface grey- or white-felted. Flower heads with 8–21 white 'petals' and cream or yellow centres, 8–17 mm in diameter overall. Flower heads stalked, single or in clusters, at the bases of the leaves. Flowering: July–November
