Notes

Shrub to 2.5 m high. Stems cylindrical, glandular-warty, with silvery to rusty scales. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating up the stems, 0.3–1.5 cm long, 1–2.5 mm wide, linear to wedge-shaped or cordate, broadest at the tip, margins more or less glandular and wavy, upper surface dull, glandular-warty, with a deeply impressed midrib, lower surface silvery scaly, sparsely warty, with a prominent midrib, tips squared off to notched or cordate. Flowers to about 10 mm in diameter, cream to bright yellow with 5 scaly petals. Flowers in 6-12 flowered clusters. Flowering: spring.
