Where found

Wet or dry situations in dry forest and heath. Mainly Blue Mountains and north from there. Occasionally coastal north from the Wollongong district. Rarely elsewhere.

Notes

Shrub usually to 0.8 m high. Stems more or less hairless. Leaves alternating up the stems, 2–5 cm long, usually deeply divided into 3–9 segments, sometimes entire. Segments of divided leaves 2–20 mm long, 2–4 mm wide, flat, hairless, midvein distinct. Flowers pale yellow, 4–5 mm long, with 4 spreading 'petals'. Flowers in narrow elongated clusters 2-6 cm long. Flowering: Oct.-Dec.
