Further Diagnosis

Thorax usually clothed in short lamellar scales; discal cell in each wing rarely exceeds the basal half; forewing Sc aligns to R and at times joins R1, R4 and R5 stalked, M2 does not arise closer to M3 than M1, CuP absent, 1A+2A may have small basal fork; hindwing Sc bent near the base and usually a humeral vein runs from Sc to the base of the frenulum, CuP absent but 1A+2A well developed (Common 1990, Kristensen 1999).
