Biosecurity Concern

Taxa marked as OF BIOSECURITY CONCERN means that within that family of moths and butterflies there are possibly species that are of concern to Australia. This concern can range from environmental, economic, medical or agricultural impacts. It is best to send the specimen in for rapid diagnosis to give us the best chance of containing the potential pest before it spreads.
