Bipinnatifid or more highly divided, two or more orders of lobes arranged in pinnate form but being continuous with other lobes by a narrow wing of lamina either side of the midrib.

Palmatifid, several lobes being joined at the same point like the fingers to a hand.

Pinnatifid, a single series of lobes borned on either side of the midrib and continuous with other lobes by a narrow wing of lamina either side of the midrib.
