4.5.4 Pinna or pinnule margin

Crenate: with rounded teeth or small lobes.
Entire: margin smooth and without teeth or lobes.
Lobed: the pinna or pinnule is divided but divisions extend no more than half way from the lobe apex to the axis that the lobe is attached to.
Toothed: with sharp teeth.
