Acute to acuminate: terminating in a point that is not elongated, to broad and tapering gradually to a point.

Attenuate, caudate, mucronate: narrowing gradually to narrowing into a tail, or terminating in a short stout projection.

Blunt, obtuse to truncate: blunt to broadly rounded, or ending abruptly as if cut off.
