Examine the margins and both surfaces of the leaf or leaflets for indumentum (scales or hairs). Do not record indumentum on the costa or rachis in this character. They have been scored in the previous characters. You should include any indumentum that occurs on the minor veins or on the leaf surface between the veins. Also include any indumentum on the leaf margin (edge).
