Where found

Dry forest and heath, often in disturbed situations. Ranges and tablelands north from Morton National Park west of Jervis Bay. Coastal north from west of Nowra.

Notes

Sprawling shrub to 1 m tall. Fleshy seed stalks/arils. 'Leaf' tips more or less sharp. Branchlets ribbed, becoming cylindrical, and hairy or rough. 'Leaves' alternating up the stems, clustered in poor specimens, 0.5-8 cm long, 1-4 mm wide, straight to slightly curved, at first hairy with coarse hairs and later more or less hairless, 3 longitudinal veins prominent. Flower heads globular, yellow, 10-25 flowered (easiest seen in late buds), 3-4 mm in diameter. Flowers Spring to Autumn. 

Family was Mimosaceae.
