Dry and wet forest and heath, often on sandstone outcrops. Ranges and the eastern edge of the tablelands north from west of Ulladulla. Coastal north from Jervis Bay.
Shrub to 3 m tall. Fleshy seed stalks/arils. Branchlets angled towards the tips and finely ridged, hairless. 'Leaves' alternating up the stems, 2-8 cm long, 2.5-5 mm wide, straight to slightly curved, surfaces hairless and more or less glaucous, midvein prominent, tips pointed with a mucro. Flower heads yellow, globular, 9-20 flowered (easiest seen in late buds), 4-5.5 mm in diameter, in elongated clusters of 2-11 flower heads. Flowers Winter to Spring.
