Where found

Wet forest, dry forest, woodland, and moist gullies. Coast and ranges. Eastern edge of the tablelands south of Bombala and north of Moss Vale.

Notes

Shrub to 6 m tall. Fleshy seed stalks/arils. Bark smooth. Branchlets slightly ribbed, angled or flattened towards the tips, sparsely hairy to hairless, often with lenticels. 'Leaves' alternating up the stems, 6-30 cm long, 1-10 mm wide, more or less straight, surfaces hairless or with a few appressed hairs, midvein prominent, tips pointed or somewhat pointed. Hairless flower stalks. Flower heads pale yellow to white, cylindrical,  20-50 mm long, in 1-3 flowered clusters. Flowers most of the year.

Family was Mimosaceae.
