Annual herb, prostrate, stemless, or stems to 10 cm long, woolly, grey-brown to grey-green. Leaves clustered at the base of the plant and alternating along the stems, 0.3-1.3 cm long, 1.5-5 mm wide, woolly, margins entire. Flower heads white or cream to yellow, about 5–10 mm high, 6–18 mm in diameter, compound, of 1–12 partial heads, each with with about 30–60 florets, 0 petals. Compound flower heads broad cylindrical to broad oval or broad cup-shaped, solitary.
