Annual or perennial herb to 0.3 m tall or sprawling. Flower stalks 1.5–6.5 mm long. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.6-1.5 cm long, compound, with 3 deeply divided leaflets. Flower heads 3-12.5 mm in diameter including the bracts, with about 30 individual red to pink flowers, with 0 petals. Flowers Spring to Autumn.
