Dry forest, woodland, and heath. Coast, ranges, and the eastern edge of the tablelands north from near the Kings Highway. One group of sightings in the ranges south east of Bombala.
Perennial herb to 0.5 m tall, or sprawling. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.6-0.8 cm long, compound, with 3 often lobed leaflets, upper surface more or less hairless, lower surface hairy or white-hairy. Flower heads surrounded by about 9-12 white to pinky mauve 'petals', overall 3.5-15 mm in diameter. The backs of the 'petals' sometimes purplish. Individual flowers white, small, outer flowers in the flower heads male, inner bisexual. Flowers mainly Summer, occasionally throughout the year.
