Native to the coastal districts of south-western Western Australia.
Introduced tree or shrub to 10 m high. Branchlets usually almost hairless, often zig-zaggy. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating along the stems, hanging down, 1.8–13.5 cm long, 3.5–12 mm wide, hairless, sometimes hairy, margins more or less entire, tips pointed. Flowers with 5 white petals each 3–6 mm long. Flowers in small clusters about 8–12 mm in diameter. Flowers Sep.–Dec.
