Wet shrubland and in swamps. Restricted to the Blue Mountains.
Shrub to 1 m tall or sprawling. Stems moderately to densely hairy, with hairs that point upwards or are spreading. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5–1 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, concave in cross section, margins not warty, leaf tips curved upwards. Flowers pea-shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, with yellow petals with red to dark markings. Calyx 5–5.5 mm long, standard petal 9–11 mm long. Flowers in clusters at the tops of the stems. Bracteoles below the flowers 3-5 mm long. Bracts below the flowers 4–6 mm long, moderately to densely hairy.
