Parasitic on many species of rainforest trees. Coast and ranges north of Nowra.
Mistletoe, stems about 0.6 m long, spreading to drooping. Plants attached to the host by a bulbous union. External runners present. Fruit fleshy, sticky. Stems hairless. Leaves opposite each other, 6-13 cm long, 20-60 mm wide, upper surface usually shining, lower surface dull, tips pointed to rounded. Flowers usually red or orange, often grading into green and yellow near the tips, 28-40 mm long, tubular, with 6 lobes. Flowers held erect, in clusters with 1-6 pairs either of single flowers or of 3 flowers. Ripe fruit red, purple, or black, more or less round, 10-14 mm long.
