Woodland on a ridge top. Mt Imlay, south west of Eden.
Shrubs to 1 m high. Branchlets often ridged, hairy, glandular-warty. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 1.6–2.6 cm long, 13–29 mm wide, compound, with 7–11 leaflets each 0.35–1.6 cm long, 1–4 mm wide, terminal leaflet shortest, surfaces often glandular warty, sparsely hairy at least on the lower leaflets, lower surface paler than the upper surface, margins flat, finely toothed, tips pointed or blunt. Flowers pale to deep pink or white, with 4 petals each 5–7.5 mm long. Petals overlapping each other in bud, falling early. 8 stamens. Flowers in 1–9-flowered clusters. Flowers mainly from September– December.
