Annual herb to 0.35 m high or sprawling, hairy to slightly hairy and somewhat sticky. Leaves basal and alternating up the stems, basal leaves usually not persisting. Leaves 0.4–9 cm long, 0.5–2.5 mm wide, deeply lobed to dissected, stem-clasping, tips blunt. Flower heads with 8-12 white 'petals' about 3.5–5 mm long, and yellow centres to 7 mm in diameter. 8–14 bracts appressed to the flower heads. Flower heads usually single. Flowering: September–November.
Definite identification of most species of Brachyscome depends on microscopic examination of the seeds.
Vulnerable Vic. Listed in the Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act, Vic.
