Where found

Open forest, grassy areas, disturbed sites, and moist places. Between Mittagong and the lower reaches of the Shoalhaven River.

Notes

Perennial, rhizomatous herb, prostrate or to about 0.5 m high, almost hairless. Leaves basal and alternating up the stems,  1.1–3.8 cm long, 3.5–11mm wide, often almost stem-clasping, tips usually squared-off and 3-toothed. Flower heads with about 40 white 'petals' each about 8.5 mm long, and yellow centres. Flowerheads below the 'petals' almost conical, about 6 mm in diameter. Bracts appressed to the flower heads in one row, overlapping, thin and green with translucent margins. Flowering: February to May.
