Leaves mainly basal, 3-15 cm long, 8–20 mm wide, margins deeply dissected with narrow lobes, sometimes entire, bases stem-clasping. Flower heads with 30-40 'petals' 10-17.5 mm long, and yellow centres 15-20 mm in diameter. 'Petals' white, sometimes pinkish in bud. Bracts appressed to the flower heads 15-40. Flowering: Nov.-May.
Definite identification of most species of Brachyscome depends on microscopic examination of the seeds.
All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
