Open forest and rocky areas. Coastal north of Tuross Head. Occasionally in the ranges. Sydney area.
Annual or perennial herb to 0.20 m high or sprawling. Stems and leaves fleshy. Leaves basal, and alternating along the stems or opposite each other, 1.5–7 cm long, 2–8 mm wide. Flowers pale pink, with 4-7 petals each 2.5–4.5 mm long. Flowering: October–April
Identification to species level of Calandrinia usually requires microscopic examination of the seeds.
