Where found

Woodland and grassland. ACT. Tablelands and Western Slopes north from near Michelago and Wagga Wagga.

Notes

Perennial herb to about 0.60 m high. Stems somewhat angular, light grey, surface felt-like. . Leaves opposite or almost opposite each other, 0.5–11 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, tomentose, often sheathing at the base. Upper leaves sometimes alternating up the stems, usually appressed to the stems. Flower heads bright golden yellow, 5-14 mm long, 7-8 mm in diameter, globular to oval, with 0 'petals'. Flowering: late spring to autumn.

All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
