Dry forest, woodland and on shrubby dunes. Coastal north of Narooma. Rarely in the ranges.
Parasitic twiner. Petals and fruit fleshy. Stems smooth, rarely wrinkled, almost hairless, yellow-green to green. Leaves scale-like, bases stem clasping. Flowers yellow to yellow-green, 1–2 mm long, with 3 petals, mostly almost hairless. Individual flower stalks conspicuous in flower, to 0.5 mm long, often hairy, sometimes inconspicuous in fruit. Flowers in loose elongated clusters, 5–15 (sometimes more)-flowered, the clusters unbranched or branched. Fruit globular to oval, green, yellow-green to red-green, almost hairless, sometimes 6-ribbed, 6–8 mm long, 4–7 mm wide (dried). Fruit enveloped in the enlarged floral tube. Flowers Sept.–Apr.
