Woodland, grassland, alpine herbfields, moist areas, and swamps, usually at higher altitudes. Kosciuszko National Park, the mountains to the north, ACT, tablelands and the western edge of the ranges.
Mat-forming perennial herb to 0.05 m high. Stems sparsely hairy, slightly sticky. Leaves alternating along the stems, 0.5–4 cm long, 3–9 mm wide, deeply dissected or compound, surfaces dotted with glands, tips pale and more or less mucronate. Flower heads 3-7 mm in diameter, with many florets, and 0 petals. Flowering: summer-autumn.
All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
