Near inland rivers, often along sandy floodways and on the beds of ephemeral streams. Western Slopes.
Perennial herb to 0.9 m tall. Leaves basal, 30-80 cm long, 10-50 mm wide, limp, hairless, margins more or less rough. Flowers strongly scented, white or creamy to yellowish, tubular, the tube 20–120 mm long, with 6 'petals' each 30–100 mm long, in a cluster of 4–16 flowers at the top of the stem. Flowering: summer to early autumn.
Vulnerable Vic. Listed in the Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act Vic.
