Where found

Heath, often in moist sites. Coast and ranges north of Milton.

Notes

Upright shrub to 1.2 m tall. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.7-1.1 cm long, 0.3-2.2 mm wide, hairless. Flowers with 5 sepals 0.2-0.4 mm mm long and 5 curved petals 0.5-1 mm long at the top of the floral tube. Floral tube 4-6 mm long, white, sometimes becoming red towards the tips. Style 4-6.5 mm long, white. Flowers surrounded by 2 yellow-brown to reddish bracteoles 2-3.5 mm long, falling before the flowers open. Flowers in irregular clusters of 2-8. Flowers Autumn to Spring.
