Herbfields, bogs, and damp places, at 1800-2200 m altitude. Kosciuszko National Park.

Notes

Perennial herb with a basal rosette about 10–20 cm diameter, bristly with stiff spreading hairs. Leaves 1.1–3 cm long, 12–35 mm wide, 3-5 lobed, often slightly rough. Flower stalks sprawling, 3.5-4.5 cm long. Flowers white, with 5 petals and 5 petal-like sepals, 5-10 mm in diameter. Flowers in clusters, usually 3–7-flowered. Flowers summer.
