Rocky ledges and seepage lines in rock-faces, stream banks, and in swamps. Coast, ranges, and the eastern edge of the tablelands north of Braidwood. Coast and ranges south from Wadbilliga National Park.
Perennial herb to 0.50 m high, with very short stems, rhizomatous, stolons often present. Flower stalks hairless. Leaves basal, erect, usually forked once, the lobes linear, 2–10 cm long, coiled when young, with glandular hairs that trap insects. Flowers white, with 5 petals each 9–14 mm long. Flowers in 1 or 2 clusters, up to 3-branched, each branch with 15–30 flowers. Flowering: spring to autumn.
