Wet situations. Coast and ranges north of the Illawarra Highway. Occasionally farther south on the coast and tablelands.
Annual herb to 0.15 m high, rhizomatous. Leaves basal, in a flat rosette; 8–10 mm long, 5–6 mm wide, spoon shaped, upper surface covered with glandular hairs that trap insects. Flowers white or pink, with 5 petals each 4 mm long. Bracts just below the flowers divided into 3, calyx warty, styles 5, threadlike. Flowers in 1–3 clusters, each with 3–10 flowers. Flowering: Winter to Spring.
