Wet heath and damp soil near swamps. Coast and ranges north from Ulladulla, and south and west of Eden.
Herb to 0.45 m high, rhizomatous. Stems hairless. Leaves in a basal rosette, 1–2 mm in diameter, round, peltate with the leaf stalk often attached near the margin, upper surface covered with glandular hairs that trap insects. Stipules divided into 3 at the top, 3–5 mm long. Flowers with 4 white petals each about 1.5–3 mm long, single. Flowers Winter to Summer.
