Moist sites in heath, and wetlands. Coast, ranges, and tablelands north from Durras and Tallaganda State Forest. Coast and ranges south of Tathra.
Herb to 0.24 m high, rhizomatous. Flower stalks glandular. Leaves in a basal rosette; narrowed to a broad, flat stalk, the whole 0.8–2 cm long, 3–6 mm wide, spoon-shaped, upper surface covered with glandular hairs that trap insects. Stipules narrow, 5–7 mm long, slashed into narrow, pointed lobes. Flowers with 5 white or pink petals each 1.5–6 mm long. Bracts just below the flowers undivided; calyx covered with minute glands; styles 3, divided in 2 to the base. Flowers in 1–5 clusters on one side of the flower stalks, each with about 3-15 flowers. Flowering: spring to summer.
