Dry forest on sandstone rock faces or at the base of cliffs. Blue Mountains and west towards Lithgow
Shrub to 0.3 m high. Old stems dark brown with prominent leaf scars. Young branches rounded, hairy, red-brown. Leaves scattered or overlapping, 0.6–1.4 cm long, 2–4 mm wide, hairless or hairy; tips blunt; margins entire and thickened; 3 longitudinal veins prominent. Flowers creamish-white, 4–5 mm in diameter, tubular, the tube 7–9 mm long, with 5 spreading lobes. No hairs on the inside of the flowers. Flowers at the bases of the leaves, extending down new branches. Flowering: Nov–Dec
