Heath and forest margins at high altitudes. Ranges and tablelands south of Bredbo. Mountains south of Tumut.

Notes

Sprawling or prostrate shrub to 0.2 m tall. Stems hairless. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.3-0.7 cm long, 1-2.5 mm wide, tips blunt to pointed, bases more or less cordate, margins finely toothed or fringed, and often slightly curved down. Flowers 6-8 mm in diameter, with 5 white to pink petals, single, sometimes in pairs. Flowers Spring.
