Where found

Garden escape. Coastal north from the Wollongong district. Rarely elsewhere.

Notes

Introduced woody perennial climber to about 6 m high. Hairless. Leaves opposite each other, 3–7 cm long, 9–20 mm wide, shiny, lance head shaped, light green. Flowers strongly fragrant, golden-yellow, 25–35 mm long, funnel shaped, with 5 lobes. Flowers in clusters of 1–8 flowers. Flowering: mainly September–February. Seeds with one wing to 10 mm long.
