Woodland and grassland. Western Slopes. One record from Wallacia, outer Sydney. Mostly north of the area covered by this key.
Perennial scrambler. Stems hairy. Leaves alternating along the stems, compound, with 3 leaflets, each 2–5.8 cm long, 10–33 mm wide, tips more or less rounded to more or less pointed, both surfaces more or less silky. Standard petal 6.5–10 mm long, Flowers pea shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, mauve to more or less red-purple, in clusters of 4-18 flowers. Flowering: Oct.–Apr.
