Eucalypt woodland. Wadbilliga National Park south to near Bombala.
Shrub to 0.15 m high, mat forming. Stems wiry, densely hairy with forked hairs (needs a hand lens or a macro app on your phone/tablet to see) and scattered longer simple hairs. Leaves alternating along the stems, 0.21–0.42 cm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, with scattered wart based simple hairs particularly on the edges of the rolled down margins, lower surface with a broad central vein, protruding, or flush with the margins. Flowers yellow, with 5 petals each 3-8 mm long. Stamens 8-17 plus stamens not producing pollen, surrounding the carpels. Anthers 0.5-1 mm long. Filaments 1-1.2 mm long, strap-like, broadened and joined together at the base. Carpels 3, hairy. Outer calyx lobes 3-6.1 mm long, 1.5-3.2 mm wide. Flowers single, at the tops of the stems, on stalks 0.2-0.9 cm long. Flowering: spring.
