Forest, woodland, grassy areas, and roadsides. Widespread.
Erect perennial herb to 0.4 m high, often rhizomatous. Stems 4-ridged. Leaves opposite each other, 0.5–2 cm long, 1-7 mm wide, often glaucous, margins usually rolled or curved down, at least the uppermost leaves stem-clasping. Flowers yellow to orange, often with greenish yellow centres, 5–14 mm in diameter, with 5 petals. Flowers in clusters of 3 or more flowers, sometimes single Flowering: spring-summer.
Family was Clusiaceae.
All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
