Where found

Urban bushland, agricultural areas, roadsides, gardens, fence-lines, waste areas, and along streams. Coastal north from Ulladulla. Canberra.

Notes

Introduced annual herb with twining stems, moderately hairy. Leaves alternating up the stems, 2–10 cm long, 20–100 mm wide, tips pointed, bases cordate, margins entire to 3-lobed, surfaces appressed-hairy. Flowers white, purplish violet or violet blue, with a paler centre, funnel-shaped, 20-40 mm in diameter, with 5 lobes. Sepals free from each other, less than 15 mm long, tips pointed. Flowers in 1–3-flowered clusters, occasionally more. Flowering throughout the year.
