Where found

Disturbed sites and along streams. Coast and ranges north from the Wollongong district.

Notes

Introduced erect to scrambling shrub to 5 m high. Fruit fleshy. Stems 4-angled, hairless. Leaves opposite each other, compound, with 3 leaflets each 1.5–7 cm long, 5–25 mm wide, hairless, margins entire, tips blunt with a small abrupt point. Flowers fragrant, yellow, tubular, the tube 9–15 mm long, with 5–16 lobes each 11–20 mm long. Flowers single. Fruit black, oval, 6–8 mm in diameter. Flowers mainly spring–summer.
