Shallow water and mud. Widespread.
Perennial herb, prostrate, to 0.1 m tall, often stoloniferous. Stemless. Leaves basal, 0.5-10 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, hairless, tips pointed. Flowers about 2-4 mm long, white or pink, often purple externally, tubular, with 4-5 lobes. Flowers most of the year.
All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
