Where found

Forest, woodland, heath, grassy areas, herbfields, gullies, along streams, and swamp margins. Widespread.

Notes

Perennial herb to 1 m tall. Stems hairless, striate. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-2.2 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, hairless, margins entire, tips pointed. Flowers with 5 blue, occasionally white, petals, each to 15 mm long. Flowers in loose clusters or single. Flowers mostly Spring to Summer.

All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
