Woodland. Blue Mountains.
Palm like plant. Seeds with a fleshy outer layer. Stem subterranean. Leaves basal, 3–10 in the crown, 110–150 cm long. Rachis not twisted to moderately twisted, leaflets 90–140, grey-green, semi-glossy, longest leaflets 22–31 cm long, 9–14 mm wide; basal leaflets not reduced to spines. Male and female cones on different plants. Cones 160–320 mm long, spines on male cones 0–1 cm long, spines on female cones 2.5.5 cm long. Seeds red when ripe.
