along streams and other damp places. Mainly Jervis Bay and inland, and north from Woy Woy.
Shrub or tree to 20 m tall. Bark papery. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite or nearly opposite each other, 0.7-1.8 cm long, 2-4 mm wide, hairless or occasionally bristly, with 3 longitudinal veins, the midvein deeply inset above, upper side convex on each side of the midvein, tips pointed. Flower heads about 10 mm long and much wider, white to pale yellow. Individual flowers with 5 petals each 5-6 mm long. Stamens much longer. Flowers Spring to Summer.
