Dry forest and heath. Coast and ranges between the Kings Highway and the Illawarra Highway.
Shrub to 3 m tall. Bark scaly. Branchlets hairy. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating up the stems, 1-2.5 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, tips pointed, surfaces hairless. Flower heads white to pale yellow. Individual flowers with 5 petals each 2.5-3.5 mm long. Stamens much longer. Flowers Summer.
