Dry forest. Western Sydney area, mainly between Richmond and Penrith.
Slender spreading shrub to 2 m high. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.1–0.4 cm long, 0.5–1 mm wide, margins fringed. Flowers with 5 white petals each about 1 mm long. Hypanthium narrow-top-shaped, 1 mm long, with 5 ribs that branch below the sepals. Flowers single, sometimes forming small clusters.
Vulnerable Australia. Endangered NSW. Provisions of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 No 63 relating to the protection of protected plants generally also apply to plants that are a threatened species.
