Heath. Coast, ranges, and the eastern edge of the tablelands, norrth of the Kings Highway. Rare in Sydney.
Shrub, prostrate or to 0.50 m tall. Leaves with sharp points. Stems hairy. Leaves scattered, opposite each other or in whorls of 3, 0.5-1.5 cm long, about 1 mm wide, rigid, margins rolled down, upper surface smooth or covered with minute warts. Flowers 8-15 mm long, pea shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, orange to yellow with red to purple markings. Flowers single, often apparently in clusters. Flowers Spring.
